When I was younger I cheered for a competitive, traveling, cheer team. One of the many places we traveled to was New Orleans, Louisiana. The time I didn't spend at the cheer competition, I spent walking down Bourbon Street and eating at cajun restaurants. To this day, New Orleans is still my favorite place and I can't wait to visit there again.

I feel the same way about New Orleans, Brooklynn! For just sheer enjoyment, I have never had more fun in a city than I did in New Orleans: food, music, strolling, nothing but fun going on there! Do you like jazz? New Orleans can lay claim to being the home of jazz, and there is so much synergy now between jazz music and music from India, esp. because they are both very improvisational arts; there's even a Wikipedia article: Indo-Jazz :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Brooklynn!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go to New Orleans. It is one of my dreams to go there when there are parades going on which I hear is all the time. I can just imagine me and my sister walking down Bourbon Street listening to jazz music and trying all the Cajun food. Since I love food, I might just need to spend a couple of days just eating. I hope once COVID-19 dies back down that I can go down there for a visit.
